The Lexmark MS317 family of monochrome laser printers and their multifunction (MFP) versions has OEM-rated print speeds ranging from approximately 33 to 50 A4-size pages per minute (ppm), and duty cycle ratings of approximately 50,000 to 175,000 A4-size pages per month.
The supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and an imaging unit that contains the drum. Replacement toner cartridges are available in yields from 2,500 pages to 8,500 pages and are available in return program and non-return program versions. The drum (imaging) unit yields up to 60,000 pages. All yields are based on A4-size pages.
All models ship with return program cartridges with yields differing by printer model. A chip is required on all toner cartridges for correct printer operation.
